Great quality and comfort
While we tried to ignore it and even more so deny it, we have to face it, winter is here. I live alone out in the mountainous country side and have a leg handicap. Which means, I wear boots to give me extra ankle and leg strength. But where I live now, steel toed boots just don't cut it. We can have below freezing weather and power outages for weeks at a time. Last year I learned a lesson the hard way when I noticed frost building up on the toes of my boots. That was it, no more steel toes for me. That's why when I found these composite toe boots that also zipped up the side, that was the perfect solution for me. Okay, so I'm sure you're wondering if I'm handicap, do I really need a composite toe boot? The answer is yes. Regardless of my limitations I still want to best protection for my feet. Most of our terrain is rocky, uneven and hard on even the most steady walkers. Almost my best friend has two fully grown Great Danes that love to greet me feet first when I walk in the door. So yes, when you have a dog that big and heavy jumping on your feet, you want protection. Even if that wasn't the case I still would want this style of boot. We've had a full week of rain and not once have I had to worry about slipping in the mud or walking up my wooden ramp. That alone gives me peace of mind about my safety. To top it off, like I said I live in the country and every guy up here wears some kind of work boot, so I fit right in. In fact, I've had several of my buddies ask me about them since they're always on the lookout for quality work boots. Now mind you, with the work that these guys do, cost is not the factor, it's quality and durability. So yes, I am very pleased with this purchase and for anyone in my similar situation or looking to upgrade to a composite style boot, I can easily recommend. Thank you.

Reliable boots that handle tough conditions!
I picked up these 8 inch waterproof work boots after my old pair finally gave out during a long rainy week, and the difference in comfort and durability was noticeable the first day I wore them. The full grain leather feels sturdy yet flexible, and combined with the waterproof bootie and nylon tongue, my feet stayed completely dry even while moving through wet grass and muddy job areas. The composite safety toe adds a reassuring level of protection without making the boots heavy, and the antistatic build gave me peace of mind working around equipment where static can be an issue. What impressed me most was the side zipper because it makes getting them on and off incredibly easy while still giving me the secure fit I want once the laces are tightened, which saves a lot of time during early mornings. The slip resistant outsole grips well on concrete, gravel, and wet surfaces, and the cushioned insole kept my feet comfortable through long shifts without that tired, sore feeling at the end of the day. After several weeks of steady use, the heel and toe reinforcement still look great, the reflective strip has been handy during late hours, and the boots feel broken in without losing support. These have quickly become the pair I reach for every morning, and they hold up to demanding work conditions better than I expected.

Durable and comfortable fitting
I’ve wanted a pair of work boots for the yard that has some type of defense against a chainsaw as I cut fallen trees on my property from time to time with a gas saw and decided to go with this brand. So far I am satisfied with how comfortable they are while work for several hours working in the yard. The build quality and materials used for these boots are top notch. I’ve never owned a pair of work books such as these so I don’t have anything to compare them against however I am confident they will keep my feet protected and at a minimum keep my feet dry and toes safe from a kicked chainsaw.

Nice Shoes, Just Not Restaurant-Grade Slip Resistant
There’s nothing actually wrong with these shoes — the issue is more about expectations versus intended use.I bought these for my husband to wear at work behind the bar in a restaurant, where floors can get very slippery. After receiving them, I realized they are not anti-slip for the restaurant industry. They are more suited for outdoor or general slip resistance, not wet kitchen or bar environments. That said, they do fit him well and look nice. For what they are designed for, they seem to work just fine. They’re just not appropriate for the specific work environment I needed them for.If you’re looking for slip resistance for outdoor or general use, these are likely a good option. Just be aware that they don’t meet restaurant-industry non-slip needs.

Sharp boots ...
... that take the workboot to the next level in terms of look and feel; ideal for wide feet. Fit is perfect and I love a lace-up, because then you're customizing for the arch. Love a composite toe that can take you through the wintertime without frostbite. These have a solid medium weight to them and a sturdiness that does not take 15 years to break in. Yes to comfort; I would add an insole to further cushion the liner. More than anything, this looks like a hiking boot that has all of the workboot cred you need. Terrific find!

excellent fit and high quality
This brand has fit my dad perfectly over the years, and his shoe size (9.5 narrow) is, according to him, extremely difficult to find, and often when he does find his size somewhere, it still doesn't fit quite right and he has to return. However, this particular pair of shoes is his third by this brand and he has been extremely pleased every time. he works around tools and construction, so this type of boot is important and needed. the quality is excellent, and they also look cool to boot (haha) i highly recommend.
