I’m neither a boxer (what a strange way to make a living) or a wrestler but I have purchased and enjoyed “wrestling” shoes in the past. To me they are like modern moccasins.I like these shoes and they are different from wrestling shoes that I have worn in the past. I would prefer standard style laces but I can understand the lacing system used due to the nature of the intended use. The lacing system does make it a bit difficult to get my feet into the shoes but there are “pull tabs” on both the tongue and back of the shoe. I find that if I take advantage of both of those tabs, the shoes go on reality easy. Personally, since I’m not using them for sports but just daily wear, I leave the laces loose and just slip in and out of them without dealing with them.They have nice , fairly thick, pad in the heel area which adds to the level of comfort. I can wear these on rainy days without my feet getting wet, I can not say that for the other wrestling shoes I have had in the past.They are well made I except that they will wear well even though I’m using them as “street shoes”. I got the all black version and think that they look nice. I have them on a work today (an office job) and got nice comments from my colleagues.I can’t comment on their applicability in the boxing ring but for comfort and style, I’m happy!
