Major Design Flaw – Sounds Like You’re Walking on a Dog Toy
I bought directly from the manufacturer (not Amazon), and while the Cloudmonster 2 has incredible cushioning, there’s a serious design flaw. Within the first 30 days, the shoes start to squeak—and not the kind of squeak you hear when walking across floors. The sole itself starts squeaking. It’s like there are little air pockets trapped inside acting as a pet’s squeaky toy.Imagine every step you take sounding like a rubber duck concert—it’s maddening. I contacted ON for an exchange since it was within their “warranty” period. Their response? Essentially, “Too bad—you wore them, so now they’re your problem.”For the price of these shoes, that’s unacceptable. Great cushion, but between the noise and the lack of customer support, I can’t recommend them to anyone, unless they are deaf.
