Perfect fit
These are super comfortable biking shoes. I was a Mt. Bike racer and used Sidi for years. Now I don't race and really don't want to spend money on Sidis. These are a fraction of the price and feel great with stiff soles for pedal eff. I set these up in a few minutes with egg beaters and good to go.

Comfortable and sturdy
These shoes are easy to get on and off and are comfortable when riding. They are pretty clunky to walk in due to the stiff platforms. Energy transfer is good when peddling, and air flow helps keep the feat cool. Check the sizing as they tend to lean to the larger size in the European to US size translation. Mine are 10 1/2, even though I normally wear a US 10 (that's what I ordered). It's working okay for me, but just beware. Also, the cleat provided for the shoe didn't fit my pedal, it was almost impossible to clip in. After one ride, it was completely chewed up. I switched to another aftermarket cleat, and it worked perfectly after that. So keep in mind that the provided cleat is a cheap throwaway. That said, riding experience itself is good. Overall, A decent value in a riding shoe.

True to size.
The shoes fit well and were true to size (for me). The tread design is more and adequate for my mountain biking needs. My Crank Brother Eggbeater cleats attached easily and there was plenty of clearance. I can't speak to the longevity of the hook and loop straps (and the shoes in general), but for now I am very pleased. Thanks!

Shoes not the same size and buckle at top too loose
The right shoe is bigger than the left. Both say they are the right size I ordered. Funny thing is my right foot is bigger than my left, BUT this still was too big for my right foot even though my left fit fine. Weird. Also, the ratchet buckle at the top is too loose. Even when tightened down fully, it's not tight. You can see in the two pictures that the opening of the shoe, with the buckles ratcheted fully tight are 1 cm different. The right one is 1 cm larger.

Where are the cleats??
The pair I received did not come with cleats, and screws were loose in the box. I haven't tried them out yet on the bike, but I'm hoping that the fit will be ok.Update: Excellent customer service resolved the cleat issue. I have worn these twice now and am extremely comfortable. My cycling performance has improved differently when wearing these rather than regular sneakers.

THESE DO RUN TRUE TO SIZE!
I don't know what other reviewers are talking about when they say these shoes run small. They ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RUN SMALL. They run TRUE TO SIZE.My usual shoe size of 9.5US men's, but I ordered a size 10 because of the reviers who claimed they run small. Now I have bike shoes that are at least a 1/2 size too large—if not a full size too large. I cannot tighten the adjustable buckle any further. The posting says they run true to size, but I saw so many reviews saying the run small and I let myself be influenced by strangers online. I blame myself.I do like the shoes. They seem like decent quality for sure. But on the other hand, they are a bit bulky. I'd like to try them on my bike but it would be annoying to feel my feet sliding around. Unfortunately I had these forwarded to my temporary home out of the U.S., so I'm stuck with them because shipping them back would cost more than the shoes. I'm pretty upset, but even so, I would absolutely recommend these shoes to others, just be sure to choose your regular shoe size.
