Great Cold Weather Boot

These leather boots are quite warm. They are full leather with no venting so if your digits run hot, you may want to find another boot. The build quality of the boot is very nice with soft leather. The safety toe area is slightly smaller than other boots I have but still doesn't rub the top of my toes in normal use. When kneeling down I can feel the safety toe but it's not uncomfortable. The ankle opening has thick padding. Most work boots have the top couple lace loops open for easy access but this on doesn't do that. The very top loop has some teeth on it that lets you snug the laces and it will hold them snug as you tighten them. Great feature. The insole is surprisingly good with even support. I don't normally need any kind of arch support and whatever support the insoles have fits my foot well. After a few days of wear I did notice the insole kind of formed around my foot. The bottom sole is designed for work boot, not hiking so the lug pattern is different and the material is made to grip wet surfaces. The tongue is sewn in to help keep debris out. There is no loop on the tongue to run the laces through so when you put them on you really need to pay attention to how the tongue material folds or it will be rubbing your foot wrong.Overall a really comfortable work boot right out of the box. I did a couple 15 hour shifts on concrete right out of the box. Summer time they will be too hot though.

Great product no lifetime warranty yet

I do like the boots so far they seem very solid dependable wearing them all day on concrete and asphalt surface the composite toe does not pinch your toes from the inside plenty of room has yet to be tested for real winter cold weather or rain of any type hoping that they're actually waterproof but the three stars comes because I have not received any word on my lifetime replacement guarantee I did the registration as per the card that was in the box when I received my order but nothing as of yet The only one drawback is these shoes are squeaky not overly squeaky not super extremely loud but they are squeaky If they hold up and honor the lifetime guarantee I would buy again.

Thick, sturdy steel toe boots

These are really great boot that are waterproof and seem very durable. They appear more rubber than leather from the looks of them. I like the steel toe and the slip resistant feature and the material is tough enough for work on construction sites. The fit is a little tighter, but it may be because they need to be worked in to adjust to your feet. I think for the value it is a good deal and these boots should last for a good while.

My new favorite work boots

I was blown away by these leather work boots. I am a real estate renovator, so I am constantly moving from one type of task to another. Steel toes are not always necessary, but when they are, I don't want to go change. These are an excellent pair of all-day work boots.Pros:- Lightweight. They are steel-toed, so they are heavier than regular boots, but they are not bricks.- Sole: Rugged, lugged sole, but NOT like a hiking boot, which is good. These are perfect for the surfaces that you will actually be using them on. If you need to hike a muddy trail, use a hiking boot.- Insole: I don't think I have ever owned a pair of work boots or hiking boots where I have haven't swapped out the insole. Even high-end brand names seem to put very little energy into a good insole, and I usually use something from an insole manufacturer. BUT, the insole in these boots is actually quite nice, and provides a decent cushion.- Lace-up: This boot has one of the most clever features I have ever seen in a high-top boot. One of the problems with high-tops is that when you try to tie them, you often lose the snug fit during the process of tying. These have a lace-lock feature on the topmost eye (see video). Game-changer.- Value: I would easily expect to pay double what these boots are priced at.Cons:- Description says "full grain leather." I think that they perhaps don't know what "full grain leather means," because these are not. They ARE genuine leather, but "full grain" does not mean the same as "genuine." These are clearly some form of bonded leather, because they have actually molded some features into the surface.- They run hot (your feet get sweaty). This is because they are waterproof, and there is no nylon. They are waterproof, but not "breathable," so there is a trade-off.- You have to fiddle with the tongue when lacing them up - it is padded, and has several folds. If you don't get it right, it rubs weird on the top of your foot.

Good quality work boots

These black leather work boots in size 9.5 fit true to size, with plenty of room in the toe box. The back of the heel was a little loose, and did not give as much support as my son's regular brand. It felt like the padding was less at the top than at the lower area of the heel. It feels better when wearing thicker socks, so I didn't deduct anything from my rating. The boots seem well made and good quality. The soles are non-slip, and protective from the hazards you could run into on a construction site, like nails or other debris, as well as electric current. They are waterproof, and the steel toes meet industry standards. Although they primarily function as work boots, they look nice enough for casual wear too. They'd do well for yard work, errands, trips to the store, or other everyday activities. They are reasonably priced for their quality and versatility.
