This shoe isn't slippery, it slipped and twisted my ankle.
Right from the start there's some ambiguity about which market these shoes are aimed at. In the title of the online description the shoes are described as "Mens Hiking Shoes", then just a few words later as "Waterproof Walking Shoes for Men". The shoes do seem to have a bit more tread in the sole than many walking shoes, and I suppose they will be perfectly acceptable as hiking shoes as long you weren't going to do serious off-trail hiking. I think they will, however, be very good walking shoes, especially when traveling. As far as sizing goes, I ordered the gray in 10 1/2, my usual size, and they fit exactly as expected. I wore them for about six hours today and found them to be quite comfortable. I wish they didn't have the "WalkHero" logo on the tab on the tongue but it's not really that objectionable. All in all these are perfectly serviceable shoes. They seem sturdy and the stitching is even. They have thick soles and very good grip. I think they may be a little overpriced in this market but if they last a long time they will be a good value. Recommended.
