Great footbed! A couple rub spots. UPDATED INFO
UPDATE NUMBER 2: I decided to order these in a larger size. They fit TRUE to size. The pups got ahold of the smaller size and chewed off the strap which I don't use so they are only used to take the pups out to their business area. I love being able to slip these off and on so easily. They are very comfortable to wear all day around the house (hard floors). They had a slight indent from the smaller box they were packed in but it has smoothed out - no problems. I can kick them off when I snuggle a few minutes with the pups throughout the day. At night they go into the locked kennel (jail)!Just one CON: THIS SOLE IS NOT GOOD ON ICE!UPDATED to add Photo - I decided to keep them. Not sure if you can see it but there is just 2 & 7/8 inch inside for your foot. I love the support these shoes offer. I do have a thin insole to absorb moisture in them. So far no more rubs. When the cheap $5 pair finally wore out, I found this pair! I was so excited to see the arch support! The cheapo's were pretty sloppy so they had ample room for a gel footpad to protect when walking over small stones.I was really surprised at how LITTLE EXTRA room I had in these. Most shoes are sloppy for me. A Pedorthic said I have boney feet. Not a lot of "volume". I did try a thin insole just to make slipping them a bit more comfortable when my feet got warm. That was too much. Ok, I wore them in the house the first day. Other than the slight moistness (nothing to wick it) they were pretty comfortable and I thought I'd found a great pair for running in and out. Cute casual wear for my life style.I wore them in and out onto the patio and around the house the next day. I REALLY like them. I noticed a bit of snugness last night from my foot swelling a little - this morning I slipped them on again and that's when I realized I was getting rubbed on the side (bunion area) and a tiny spot starting on the top of my foot (fingers near the 2 areas in picture). With peripheral neuropathy - I'm really in a quandary about sizing up to see if that makes a difference or just returning them. I have high hopes another brand will have a larger foot area. I sometimes buy wide width shoes but technically I do not have wide feet. I don't feel the footbed is the problem.I can't say enough about the comfort of the footbed itself. I need to change frequently from indoor to outdoor shoes taking the puppies out. I was fully planning on getting a second pair for indoor as these really were really comfortable all day while running around doing chores, up and down steps and basically on my feet the better part of the day.Something to be aware of, and hope this helps you decide between the offerings ...
