I have an old version of this shoe that had a back strap that I absolutely loved. It wore out and I had Mephisto resold it, but it did not come back fitting right. I was thrilled to see the issuance of this model sans back strap, and am loving it. A great style, so cute.
Too narrow :/ like couldn’t even put them on so narrow.
These are comfortable, run small. I'm a size 8 and lucky ,plus read some of the reviews ordered a size 9. They took a long time to deliver. Otherwise they are worth every penny.
They are not up to Mephisto standards. Uncomfortable. The leather upper is flimsy and ill-fitting..
I always wear 39 in Mephisto cork sandals and 30 in this fit exactly as expected. Had to add extra holes to the straps but the forefoot is perfect. The Mephisto sandal styles that start with the letter H all seem to have the same footbed, great for a slightly narrow foot. I bought the dark brown leather. Have been wanting a style exactly like this and it is as if Mephisto read my mind. I hope they will bring this in more colors such as cognac leather and that they will keep this style in the permanent lineup.
I have a long, medium-narrow foot. This sandal fits me very well and stays on my foot without being tight. The footbed is heaven: the support of a Birk but with more cushion. I looked hard for a slip-on fisherman-style sandal that covered my toes and wasn't too wide. This sandal is perfect. At this price, I hope it last for many years.
