Excellent quality typical Rebecca perf sneaker. Comfortable. Almost no rise in the heel, which is good for my problem knee. I expect it will last a long time (3-4 years) like my last pair, which I still use for bad weather.
Mephisto makes a great shoe, that's all there is to it. This style, Rebecca Perf, however, has a low toe box for my foot, so I had to return it. This seller, Mephisto Scottsdale, was polite, prompt, and included a personal note with my purchase - terrific!
I bought these to replace a a pair of shoes that Mephisto no longer makes. I am extremely disappointed in the shoe. Despite having to buy the shoe a 1/2 size larger, the right one is still too small. My foot keeps bumping up against the toe box resulting in blisters. I have to wear moleskin every time I wear the shoe and am looking to buy another pair of shoes to replace these. This was a real waste of $200.00.
I love the Rebeca shoe by Mephisto. They are my favorite Mephisto shoes but I’m not sure the co is making them anymore. It was very hard finding the blue one in my size, but I lucked out. Very comfortable shoe & well made. Keep up the good work, Mephisto.
This is the first time I have spent this much money on shoes but they are worth every penny. I have been having trouble with my achillies tendon, plantar fasciitis and a bone spur on my heel. For months, most all shoes were uncomfortable to wear for even a few hours. The Podiatrist recommended a variety of brands but I have been familiar with Mephistos for many years. I ordered these on Amazon, (first time on-line shoe order) and they fit as if they were hand made for me. I love the red as it seems less 'orthotic'. They are now the most comfortable shoe that I own and am considering a second pair!
I have two pairs of size 38 or US 8 Lasers, which is the style Rebecca Perf evolved from. Looks just like the Laser but fits at least half size smaller. I am not sure going up a half size would be enough. Otherwise, once you get your fit, this is just the best shoe ever. It will have room for a high instep, roomy toe box, narrow heel. Quality suede.
Got these after hearing rave reviews from a friend. I always wear a 9, but these were snug and narrow. They were also very stiff and not comfortable at all. The short time I had them on my ankle was already feeling the rub. I am returning these.
