Good durability
Any shoe, especially a sandal, that can survive a season with my son is well made. These made it through last summer and I was bummed that I he has sized out of them. He has already destroyed a different pair this summer.

I love Merrell shoes for my kids! They are comfortable - I have never seen a blister on my kiddos' feet and we take hikes/walks everyday. They have never fallen off my kids feet.Plus, the quality is amazing! I just buy a pair for my oldest and then each of my kids wear them once their feet are big enough to fit. Our smallest pair of Merrells have been used by 3 kids so far. The velcro is still going strong and the tread doesn't look worn at all.
My toddler wears these to daycare. He is very active and they are a durable, breathable shoe with a stable/firm sole. The material is easy to clean/wash off. Definitely worth the money!
Great summer shoe for my active 5 year old. Easy to get on, fit well and hold up to active use. He’s gotten them wet, muddy, sandy, they hold up great. The liners often pop out but that isn’t really a problem for him.
In spite of the general sizing complaint below, these are good little shoes and great for the price. I would recommend them! They’re comfortable to stand in for long periods of time, and easy to slip on and off.Dear Merrell - Please add half sizes! As a woman with small feet (I can wear size 7 to 8 depending on the brand), I often buy big kids’ shoes because they’re better priced. I’ve typically went with Big Kids 5.5 for Merrells, and have had perfect fits on two other occasions. Unfortunately (and annoyingly) this doesn’t come in half sizes—which is exactly what I needed. I thought the 5 would be okay since I wouldn’t be wearing socks, but they’re just to that point of too tight where they’re uncomfortable. 6s would have definitely looked clown-like and had way too much room. Just unfortunate that there’s no half size. Hopefully they stretch!
Awesome shoes! For the past couple of years, we bought Keens or Tevas, but after having a good experience with Merrell shoes for myself, I decided to try them for my older son. He is 5 and is really hard on his water shoes. From spring to fall, these are all that he wears. They have held up very well with absolutely no signs of wear. They dry reasonably quickly. They look very good and seem to be comfortable - he is very sensitive to tags and other things that could irritate him, and no complaints with these. Will definitely buy more Merrells for him and my younger son.
Just a little surprised these were not in the original packaging and had no tags. Otherwise they look as described. The description did not mention "like new" or anything other than new. The price was a deal at USD $21 or so.
