Awesome shoe-this is good price $90. I own 2 pr. Bought for son, did not fit.I like well laced tie on shoes for hiking and was concerned these would not do well with elastic ones, but they are my go to hikers. Size up once, then slip on after. They fit securely and haven’t needed adjustment in > 3 years. Super comfy.The regulars are great in dry weather. The goretex are a little warm in summer, perfect for winter especially if wet. I’ll rebuy when needed.
Great shoes. I have 2 pair of earlier versions. I’ve used them for hiking, general farm/ranch work, etc. Very durable and comfortable.
These are absolutely amazing. I love the Merrill brand and these do not disappoint. Straight from the box they are SO comfortable! There is no breaking in period. They are lightweight and definitely waterproof but still breathable, they fit perfectly! I'm on my feet all day running, jumping, quick stops and turns and these shoes support it all. 10/10 would buy again and would recommend. 100% worth every penny spent.
This item is very comfortable and easy to walk in rain or rugged area. It's very well made to keep it water proofed. The only thing I do not like is the shoelaces. It uses a slider buckle that makes it easier to keep shoe laces tied and not get untied which can be very useful when hiking; however, the slider is cheap and breaks easily. I would suggest getting new shoe laces of your choice or cutting off the slider and tying it yourself.
I'm in law enforcement and these shoes are amazing. Good construction, have lasted 1.5 years of heavy use, and they make my feet feel great even after a long day. Will be my go-to shoe for work.
I've had a few pairs of Chameleon's and these are probably the most comfortable of the bunch. I've figured out how to break them in quickly - wear them with some thin polyester no-show socks, stand in a lake or a river, or just soak them with a hose, then walk around in them until they're dry. The thin socks will help them dry out more quickly.
I have worn these type shoes for about 15 years and they’re great! I find the only problem is that in the warm weather with sweaty feet, they’ll tend to store some odor! Like bad! My other shoes are find but I think the neoprene material just keeps everything in.. otherwise, look great, good support and cushion, fit great..
