The build quality is outstanding, they provide excellent grip on different terrains, and the sizing is spot on, perfectly true to measurements. Comfort and reliability you can trust for long hikes and mountain adventures.
Boots looked good and fit well. Not sure if they are truly waterproof as my son hasn't tried them yet.
They look good but Merrell is the only brand of footwear that has ever produced malodorous qualities for me. Sucks but I’ll keep ordering.
Comfort...comfort...comfort. I love these boots, I own this pair and the same model just insulated also. I have been on many hikes with these boots ranging from 3 miles to around 10 -15 miles a day. All Day comfort and the lugs really help to grip the ground and rocks while hiking.
New boots, on 2nd day green eyelet, holding shoestring, came out of rivet that was supposed to hold to be securing it.
Ordered these boots for my boss. He said they are so comfortable. He asked me to order him another pair.
I don't like that the "speed hooks" (used for laces at the top of the boot) are too small allowing shoe laces to escape easily and frequently. When that happens, the boot is "untied" despite the bow in laces remaining very well tied. Other than that the boot is OK but no better than less expensive Merrells that don't have the small speed hook problem.
