-Update-Merrell reimbursed me for these after I brought it to their attention!Merrell is a Great company !!!Worst quality shoe I’ve ever owned.I buy Merrell shoes loyally for work.These shoes lasted 1 week in the carpentry field before they were thoroughly trashed.The cheap plastic over the mesh is garbage and disintegrated in the first few days.
Great fit. All day comfort. Merrell has always been an exceptional brand.
Use these to walk my dog. The bad thing is that they are not water proof at all. My feet get wet if the dew point is reached. The grass gets wet and I'm walking along and I feel this coldness. Nasty. My feet are soaking wet in minutes.Then of course I walk through puddles and the shoes do nothing to protect my feet. They have good traction over all surfaces. Fit nice. Comfortable and offer good support. Good arch support and easy to leave tied and made into a slip-on. If you need your feet to stay dry then choose another pair of shoes.
Excellent shoes. I wear them all of the time. I buy them every six months. I hike, walk, climb and do everything with them.
I gave these shoes a fair chance.In spite of the polymer coating around the fabrick of the shoe peeling off, and the sole coming loose on the outside front of the right shoe (necessitating repair with shoe glue), they were pretty comfortable, and gave good traction.And then I stepped in a puddle, a mere inch deep... and the insole saturating almost immediately.I checked for perforation and cracking of the outsole, but there was none. In fact, the Vibram sole is too good for the rest of this shoe.It's simply not waterproof at all, by any definition above solubility of the material.I've kept them too long to return, but I won't be buying any more products from the manufacturer.Hopefully I can save someone else the same mistake
These shoes came out of the box with the perfect fit, and ready for the trails. My first hiking adventure with the socks and undergarments worked!!!! Feet were fstigued afterward but chalk it up to a 6 mile Sedona journey first time out of the gate.
The shoes were brought at a reasonable price. The pair look good, comfortable, and have good traction in wet and dry surfaces. However, one shoe start peeling after 5 months of daily wear.
