I have nearly 1000 miles on a pair of Merrell Moab 3 and they still feel like new. Bought a new pair because I wanted a different color. I walk daily thru State parks in snow, ice, mud, rock, grass, water and dirt. Clean them in a bucket and let them air dry. My shoes do not have an easy life. I have flat feet, the support in these shoes allow me to hike pain free. I've tried several different brands, for me, nothing performs as well as Merrell.

Great shoes
I've worn out two pairs of Moab 2s and guessing these will also eventually wear out. Good fit for me but I have somewhat narrow feet so I went with the standard fir instead of the wide. Very comfortable. YMMV.
