Comfortable boot for daily all day wear. Aggressive tread that doesn’t wear down too fast. Durable and breathable but still maintains waterproof. Another great boot from Merrell! Fit was also true to US size standards.
good toe box, lightweight, comfortable, good for light hikes/trails, walks & standing on concrete for an 8hr shift. would buy again.if you want something for a more intense hike get the moab3. otherwise this is a fantastic everyday shoe.
I'm extremely happy with this boot. I wear composite toe work boots most of the time but prefer a hiking style boot for most of my weekend activities. My last two pairs were Keen and Columbia and my get didn't like either. These boots are comfortable, have a very comfortable footbed, and required virtually zero break-in. They fit like an athletic shoe, I wouldn't expect them to hold up as well as a leather work boot. I have been wearing them daily for the last week trying to get used to them. I find that they are in fact very waterproof. My only complaint is they are a little on the hot side which is to be expected with any waterproof boot. I will wear these out and buy another pair just like them.

I had to chuck my last and favorite pair of Merrells after about 12 years of heavy use. If I could have resoled them, I would have. My feet are old and weird and I use the all the time. So, I rarely purchase shoes, especially boots, online. I just couldn't find anything at the stores to even try on. I took a chance on these. They were my first choice, and they fit perfectly and comfortably from the minute I stepped into them. I love the style, they feel soft and comfortable inside, and are light weight. I work with a large-breed dog rescue and hike with the dogs a few times a week. These have all and more than I could have asked for.
The only reason I got these was because they were on sale. If you can get them on sale I would highly recommend. These are good work boots and hiking boots. Super comfy right out the box and fit well. On sale they have a ton better value than other hiking boots found on Amazon. Durable and relatively light weight which is ideal for hiking. I also use them to do farm work since they’re so extremely comfy. Somebody even mistook me for Arthur Morgan because I looked so cool in these.
After a week of use, the eyelet came off. disappointing
