Super comfortable and fits as expected.
I'm very happy with these shoes. I have big feet for a woman and find men's shoes are more comfortable. I am not wearing these for running or hikes, just around the house and out running errands, but for that they have been just great comfort-wise, which is all I'm interested in.
Awesome shoes. I wore these all the time. For about 10 months. Now, they are still comfortable, but wearing out in a few spots.
What I love most about Merrell shoes is how they always feel like they're already broken in right out of the box.I'm usually not a fan of their color pallets used on some of their other shoes/boots, but these Nova 3 sneakers have such a great look!As for fit, my feet are slightly wider, but not wide enough to need a wide shoe. So I tend to be between sizes. I tried the 10 (US) and 9.5 (US) and settled on the 9.5(US) as the 10s were just a tad too long and my foot kept sliding forwards in the shoe. They breath well, and seem to be pretty durable considering they are made of a lighter mesh material. I've worn them out fishing, walking, etc. They clean up easily and dry out fast.Looks great with shorts or jeans. These are an every-day shoe for me.My main complaint is that it's $124, and the insoles that came with the shoe are junk. They flattened out within a month of regular wear and won't stay in place. I've had to replace them. I didn't know Merrell also sold insoles until just now and the reviews are convincing me to buy some, so I'll be trying those out!
Used regularly to run a local 3-mile gravel/dirt trail. They are very comfortable and offer outstanding traction for climbs and descents. A bit loose in the toebox for quick lateral movements (I have fairly narrow feet), and the rounded heel would make for an odd gate if you're used to running heel-heavy (I run mid and forefooted). Used them during my last Tuff Mudder (10-mile obstacle course) and never slipped or stumbled. Was able to navigate the trail and all the obstacles with relative ease. Gave them 4 stars due to the "Baggy" feeling in the toebox. I had to intentionally relax my foot and toes to keep from trying to grip the shoes with my toes. Maybe just a ME issue, but they felt a bit overly spacious compared to the TrailGlove, which I was running before trying these. If you run enough to warrant a trail running shoe like this then you know your feet. Just my experience.
First off I’ve had these shoes for 6 weeks. When I first put them on it was oh nice! These fit good. Plenty of arch support and room in the toe box. I have a high arch normal width foot. I tend to toe off heavy on my foot strike. But these fit good and have ample cush. Didn’t feel any abnormal rock strikes.I like the fit and they are a decent looking shoe. But my only gripe is the wear. I have never had a shoe wear out so quickly. That is 6 weeks of wear with under 20 miles a week. Seriously @vibram I always have great things to say about their soles and have had many happy miles on other models. But I will not be buying these again because of the sole. The uppers are basically new still. I could resole but is it worth it? 3 stars for comfort
This is my second pair. The first I bought at an outlet mall. Liked them so much I decided on a second one. These shoes fit me nicely and look good. They are much less heavy than the Moab line, which are better suited for cool weather and for light hiking.[Edited to add] I bought the black ones, which were on sale. The picture for the black shoes does not match the pattern of the other colors -- but the picture is wrong. The correct shoes arrived.
