I have purchased Merrell shoes in the past for specific outdoor activities I planned on vacation. I knew that they were well made, but expensive. I really like the BOA lace system and chose this model for that feature. The shoes look great and are made from waterproof Gortex. The sole is very soft and supportive. If these were priced lower, I would have given them 5 stars
Way too narrow toebox and they run a little small in general. Great idea but they need a wide version.Out of all my other Merrel shoes I've owned through the years these are by far the least comfortable.I have multiple size 8s and they are very comfortable, for whatever reason they made the toebox on these extremely narrow, almost like they sent me the women's version (they didn't, I triple checked). I'm wearing them with thin summer socks too so that's not the cause for the discomfort.
