Great shoe for a good price.
Bought these on-line because I've been wearing Merrell's for years and love a lot of their models.These are a hard to find model in stores and I'm afraid are going out of production. They are very comfortable, last a fairly long time and are well built. On line pricing is also providing some discount although in this case I was just glad to find this model, and at a discounted price...bonus. Most of the leather models like these Crosslander 2's have minimal fabric mesh and robust price points. In my opinion, the newer models that stay in the double digit pricing range have substantially more fabric and far less support and strength.

We are definitely a merrell loving family! Mom, dad & son have a pair! We’re trying to het daughter on board as well LOL they just last so long and so so durable!My son has had only 3 pairs of shoes (Merrell’s) in literally the past 6 years because he wears them til he can’t anymore! He loves them & same goes for his dad! I got a pair for work & I tell you what my back & feet thank me since I’m on my feet literally for 8 hours a day.We live in the mountains so you need a great shoe that can handle mud/rain/snow- all the elements- ya just can’t beat em honestly. We’ve tried trust me 😆they’re easy to clean because they don’t get dirty easily & even when they do it’s easy. I recommend a shoe/foot powder to keep them nice n fresh since they last a while. Any type of socks is good with them & literally any weather is appropriate to wear them in.My son wears a 13 so had to find these online, hard to find them in his size in our town, if you get a wide, beware, they run like a whole size bigger in my experience ( my 1st option was a wide & had to send back, too big for him!) he had worn te last pair so long we had no idea what the tag said lol but Amazon made it super easy to return & we quickly picked out a new size once the return warehouse received the initial pair (since bought with a gift card, if buying with bank card I think your account is immediately credited). Anyways! Love love love Merrells, highly recommend for any age but especially young/teen boys in this case.
