Great shoe!
These took about 5 days to arrive, like it said, no surprise. I am VERY pleased with the shoes. First I checked for fit, and I had ordered my normal size and these fit perfectly. They may seem a little snug, but unless you don't mind coming out of a slip on shoe, you want it to fit a little snug. I can feel the arch support, and I like that. The inside has a soft material lining that is comfortable. Now to the slip on part. For me, if I don't have the shoe up against something like a wall or furniture, when I try to put my foot in, the shoe slides away. When I block it against something, my foot slips in easily and snug secure. The rear of the shoe is sturdy enough so that it does not double over under your heel, at least when new. I took a 2 mile walk in the neighborhood the first day, they were comfortable. I found nothing to dislike about the shoe. Everything about it pleased me.

Always Merrell
This is my 5th pair of Merrell Moc Slip-Ons and I will keep buying them as long as Merrell makes them. True to size and fit, this is a slip-on that doesn’t feel like slip-ons. Once my foot is in the shoe it feels like having a tied shoe on. I wear these everywhere, and bought this particular color for wearing around the house instead of slippers.I’ve been wearing this model of Merrell Mocs for 16-hours a day over the past 10 years, and finally decided to purchase these 1/2 size larger and they are a perfect, comfortable fit for a slipper. I tried Merrell’s actual slippers and didn’t like them for sake of no arch support. However, these Mocs are so lightweight they are perfection for slippers.As for daily wear and tear, indoors and outdoors, these last me about 2 years before my wide foot starts separating the leather from the sole. If I worked only inside I would guess they would last twice that long. Being waterproof, I wear them everywhere, including traversing snow-covered sidewalks and fishing from boat or shore. They hike like a boot and, well, why have anything else on my feet.Last of all, it’s so nice to be able to slip out of them at the door, and back into them when leaving. No sitting and tying shoes is awesome. They also clean-up with a wet cloth or I can clean them at the sink if I get too much mud in the aggressive tread. They’re simply the perfect shoe.

My favorite casual shoes
After a year of wear these still slip on tight with a satisfying "thuck". The heal tops haven't broken down even though I rarely pull them on with my hands - just stuff my feet into them. Very comfortable, don't wiggle or slip, but aren't tight or binding, great on snow and other infirm surfaces, and great looking with a pair of jeans. From afternoon walks to bar hopping, these are the first shoes I grab. I generally wear a 12D even though my feet are a little narrower than that with a high instep, and these fit really well.

Very nice home runaround shoes.
I have been wearing flipflops. But, those to be honest are horrible. No real support, too hot, too cold, and ugly. These things really make life easier. I have been enjoying tending ducks and rabbits, but also just wearing around the house. And, they are reconditioning my feet back to getting used to regular real shoes. I had sort of lost touch, and my feet were hurting when wearing regular shoes.I won't use these for longer walks, or heavier carrying projects. But I will use them around the house and for driving if just doing very small trips in town, or just driving. I feel comfortable driving just about any distance with these. I like them enough that I have another pair on order, and might just order even another pair... as back up. Not sure how long these will last, but don't mind replacing every few years, if needed, at $54 a pair. Well worth it. More so if they last four to five years.

An awesome shoe, fits my wide feet in regular size
I've had the suede versions of these shoes for 3 pairs now. Finally decided it was time for another new pair and got the smooth leather type as it was cheapest at time of order. (I got the one called "Black Slate Leather" which sounds like it would be black in color, but is brown as shown in the product photos, and I'm OK with that). Although I often buy shoes in a wide size, I find I can wear these comfortably in a regular width at my usual size. Honestly they feel so good I'm ordering another pair before the price goes up again on this style with the smooth leather.
