Great for wide feet, nimble
I work in heavy commercial/industrial hvac. Normally I wear Redwing boots but figured I would give these a try as Moab’s are my go to hiking boot. I have been very pleased with these boots. They are comfortable, well made and they fit my wide feet just as good as the hiking boots do.I still wear the redwings when we are fitting pipe or doing other heavier activities but on days where I know it will be lighter work physically, or where I need to be a little more nimble (moving through an attic space or navigating through tight spaces) the Merrels are an easy choice. We require electrically insulated and safety toed boots. These cover both and so far have held up really well. Size wise I wear 4E running shoes. If the regular Moab’s work for you, these will too.

Worth the extra $, very good boots
Tried a similar off brand boot about half the cost but not really comfortable for every day long term wear. These very comfortable pretty much right out of box as Merrills often are, and for all day wear. Water resistance excellent, very sturdy for outdoor work as well as walking/hiking. Seem fairly slip resistant on slick stone etc. Plenty of room to add orthotics for added comfort.

Comfortable and Durable
Merrell shoes are are great. Fit well, and waterproof. I walk on metal egress and concrete all day for 8 hours and they keep my feet from hurting.

Eyelets rip off
Boots were comfy for one day but the second day when going to tie the boots the eyelet ripped right off. Took almost no force to rip off and I wanted to break them in while tied loose. Didn’t figure out this until after return window so major disappointment.
