365 days, average 2 miles/day = 730 miles

These shoes were comfortable from day one. I go through shoes pretty quick. I walk dogs every day an average of 2 miles. These shoes have good traction. They have good fit and durability. After walking for that long the soles are worn and beginning to separate from the upper, but the upper is still strong not cracking not tearing not breaking down. I have thrown them in the wash a few times. I will be getting the same shoes again.

True to Size and Comfortable

I walk a lot on concrete or rocks exercising a standard poodle puppy! Miles a day. My last Saucony shoes were too short so I ordered up a half size. Toe box was too wide, arch in the wrong place, and my foot had no support. So back to a tried and true brand Merril! They are expensive but imagine my surprise to find a pair of 9 medium used at a great price. They truly were like new. Very clean. Best et the fit was perfect. My foot is not narrow but not plump. I have a high arch so need support. These are a true 9 medium with a AA heel. That is what a well made 9 medium should be. I am over the moon happy! My last concrete 3 miles was a joy. Looking forward to many more. I may have to buy another pair in another color full price!

Good traction and stability

Super light-weight trail shoe. This is my second pair of this style; I purchased the first pair in blue a year ago. I've worn the first pair pretty frequently (although I have a ridiculous amount of shoes) and they're holding up pretty well. Comfortable, but could use a tiny bit more arch support and the back, ankle, collar area could be made better.

Quality

These shoes are the best for lots of walking and hiking. They are super comfortable and durable. Lightweight and cool for warmer months, plus great in the winter months with warm socks. This is the second pair I have purchased. My first pair is three years old and in great shape and I wear them a lot. I wanted a second pair for back up. Love Merrell footwear!

supportive but lightweight

These shoes are lighter, softer, and more comfortable than my old walking shoes, but they seem to provide a lot of support. I have a stubborn Achilles tendon problem and find I can walk farther, with much less pain afterward, when wearing them. Of course that is my subjective impression only, and every Achilles case is different, so YMMV; but I am thrilled with them.

Good so far with minimal distances

I am an avid exercise walker (on sidewalks/roads) for about 8 months of the year and need good arch support (think like Birkenstocks) with a soft but supportive insole. Decided on more of a trail walker shoe, because I do occasionally walk on trails and wanted a bottom sole that works well with uneven terrain. My Merrell Moab 2's, bought many years ago, are kind of heavy and have always had an uncomfortably hard insole, even on minimal length trails. I don't like added things in my shoes, like comfort inserts.Tried the Moab Flight and so far they are quite decent, but have not walked more than half a mile at a time in them. The real test is my usual 3-4 miles (though I know by 1.5-2 miles), several times per week walks, when the weather is a bit warmer (hopefully soon!). The left is a bit tight, but that's because my left foot is bigger (happens in most shoes), but it also does seem to accommodate my various ankle supports I wear when distance walking, due to a severe sprain 2 years ago.Previously I wore Asics Gel Nimbus, but last one I could wear was the 18, because they changed the shoe width to way too narrow for my feet on subsequent models and the wides didn't fit right. Then tried Hoka One One Rincon 2 which was the PERFECT shoe. When those wore out and that model was now a 3, they had changed their sole and seemingly put it in a much higher priced model. The insole was now literally painfully hard. Took me two pairs to figure out the problem. I didn't need an almost $200 shoe just to walk a few evenings for a few miles after work, so I didn't try their other models that does have that insole. I got the Mach 4 instead (at a bit of a higher price) and it's just ok. It served it's purpose, but now I need a new shoe, so I'm trying Merrell.I'll update this when I walk more in them.

Hiking shoes

I wore these to Yosemite to hike. They are comfortable and light weight. I’m about a 10 shoe size women. I bought an 11. They were maybe 1/2 size too big. I just tired the laces tight. I had no problem hiking in them all week. I was very happy with them. They look nice too. I just ordered my husband a men’s pair to try in the same brand and style.
