Comfy right out of the box, fits great!
I have been wearing Merrell boots for years and never had any issues. I purchased these boots thinking they would hold up the same as the other Merrell boots I have had for years. The fit was a little tight at first but they stretched out nicely once broken in. However after a month or so of wear the lining began pulling out of the boots and they were impossible to take off. To the point where I had to cut the sides to get them off. Poor quality for a once great brand. I reached out to customer service but have heard no response. I am guessing since they were two days past the 60 day warranty I wasn't worth a response. Buyer beware
They are made in China, like most boots. They seem sturdy and are pretty comfortable. I work in the oilfield and will wear these 15 hours a day for 14 days straight before I get a break. I’ve yet to find a pair of boots that lasts me more than about 118 shifts. I kept track. Keep in mind, I just counted how many of my 14 day “hitches” the boots lasted and divided that by 14. Here’s the list:Ariat 28 shifts, Red Wings 28, Irish Setter 14 😬, Georgia 50, Mucks 84, Keen 98, Timberland 98, Baffin 84, Justin 98, one pair of Lacrosse 28 another pair (winter boots) 118. I will update when these wear out.
Pull on boots are great for doing chores around the yard, especially in sloppy wet or snowy conditions. So far this pair is holding up well and is completely waterproof. They fit true to size. They are stout, with a thick sole, and are a little heavy and clunky for longer walks.
This is my second pair of these boots. They are very comfortable and true to size.
After trying three other brands at similar price, I finally found these. I was worried with no reviews but the reviews for every other boot are so mixed anyway who could tell what you get.I’ve had them for 3 weeks and work in them every week day. And some weekends, just because I like them and they aren’t too beat up yet. They are very comfortable and best of all quite easy to get on and off. I like that they are tall but just an inch or so shorter than similar style Wellington’s.Hated the fit of Tiberlnd. Dnner’s were okay but leaked right away. Irish Set was quite nice but again I had wet feet early. Can’t speak for the long twrm toughness but they appear very well built.Hardest boot search ever!Edit: my feet are wet in these all the time but I think it’s because they’re sweaty. The liner is already tearing out inside at the heal.Pretty disappointed in my $200 boots.
They're okay just around the heels they're irritating
