I recently purchased the Merrell Unisex Child Trail Chaser 2 shoes for my nephew, and I couldn’t be happier! These shoes are incredibly sturdy and provide excellent support for active kids who love to run, hike, and explore. Such great shoes that I’ve continued to purchase as my child has grown.
I was pleasantly surprised when, after one month of use, these shoes didn’t look old or worn. Especially since she wore them every day to daycare.She has since outgrown this pair and because these were so reliable I purchased another (but different) pair of Merrell shoes. Great traction for outdoor play. Not heavy or bulky. The fit was spot on. Great value for the price! Especially since kiddos can really tear up their shoes on the playground!

Great hiking shoe but expensive
We love these shoes. This is the second pair I have bought. Great for hiking with great grip, fits my daughter well and very comfortable. They look stylish too. They are very expensive that is the only down side especially for a child who will outgrow them within a year. I sized up hoping to get 2 seasons out of them. When we’re done we resell on marketplace.

The outstanding quality one would expect from Merrell. My kids play... HARD, and they wear their shoes out before they grow out of them most of the time, but these are holding up very well. My husband takes our older kids hiking and camping and we wanted sturdier shoes for that purpose and also for everyday wear and play, without having to buy children's hiking boots. These fit our needs very well. I cannot comment on waterproof ability, we don't romp in the rain where I live. The color is vibrant and accurate to the photo. I have another pair in a different color and style for my son and they are holding up equally well. Will definitely buy these shoes again as they get older!

Probably a great hiking shoe for people who aren’t scaling mountains. Super comfy but I don’t know that this pair is going to hold up for 2-3 seasons like my other Merrill hiking boots did.. I might get 2 months out of theses- but they are cute so whatever.
