Very comfortable with great cushioning!
I am very happy with these Merrell shoes. They fit true to size (7 1/2) and have quite a bit of cushioning. I bought them for a trip to Utah's National parks. I am older so I will be doing light hiking and walking and I think they will be perfect. They seem to provide support and stability and have plenty of room in the toe area while being snug in the heel so my foot doesn't slide. The color is really nice also. It is very subtle and is a grayish light purple. Very pretty!

Best shoes for my plantar fasciitis in combination with the best sole inserts.
These Merrell Antora 4 shoes along with Nevvis plantar fasciitis sole inserts were the best combination for my foot. I had tried about 8 different brands of shoes that claimed to be great for plantar fasciitis along with different soles. None of them were half as good as this combination. Great shoes and great soles--in combination. I graded it down one star because it took weeks to get the shoes. The soles came quickly.

I love Merrell antoras. I have been buying them since Antora 2. That purchase was largely influenced by the fantastic rainbow design. The shoe itself was so comfortable that I got hooked. I have purchased identical pairs of 2 & 3 models in the rainbow version. The Antora 4 has no good looking rainbow show. I opted for the light blue, which is not really my style. They are, as expected, super comfortable right out of the box. Super lightweight. Size runs true across all Antora models. My experience has been that the shoe holds up well, but the treads wear out before the upper.
