I love the color and design, the foot support is great and they get excellent traction. This is my second pair, I bought the last maybe 18 months ago and walk several miles everyday in them. Eventually the support and padding started to break down and my feet started hurting so I got a fresh pair and it made a huge difference. I think they’re pretty pricey but the comfort and quality is worth the price tag.
Such a great shoe! I put so many miles on these walking all over Europe, and they held up beautifully. Completely waterproof, super comfortable, and supportive. I loved them so much I bought another pair in a different color!
Personally I love these shoes. I keep coming back to them. I really don't care which color I get, I just try to grab a back-up when the price is reasonable so that I can replace them as they wear out. They are fine for hiking rocky kames in a county park near me & the sole is fine for snow (as long as it's not deep, these just come up to the ankle).I am hoping that this model/style stays as is... I will continue purchasing them when the price is right if the manufacturing quality remains. (I have purchased multiple times ~$45-65, pre-tariff.)There are other brands of shoes where I have tried to keep purchasing exactly the same style & the arch moves around, etc. so I wind up returning them and giving up on that brand. So far these have fit consistently with every order. Hopefully that will continue.
These shoes were very nice and the colors were beautiful, unfortunately they ended up being too small so I had to return them.
I did not wear to the ice caves in Iceland. However walking around town and in waterfalls- my feet stayed dry and warm. Good traction and comfy. I tested these out before I left by drenching my shoes with the water hose. Again dry. I will be taking them to Iceland. I did wear wool socks.
The shoes are attractive but did not work for me. The width was too narrow and I returned them for a different pair of hiking shoes. It also stated that they were waterproof but it was not stated on the shoe like my other Merrell waterproof hiking boots!!
I have been wearing different Merrell shoes (size 5.5) for years. This pair of Size 5.5 was so tiny, I couldn't get my feet into them. Had to return
