LOVE these !!! Perfect fit, comfortable and stylish. Merrell is my go to and these did not disappoint
These are waterproof, supportive, comfortable, and an unexpected surprise. I live in the foothills near Yosemite. My property has lots of stickers in summer. Due to the protective material around the tongue, the stickers do not go through the shoe and into my foot. This is a real bonus if you have a thorn problem.
We went hiking in New Hampshire and the boots were very comfortable and sturdy.I am thrilled with these boots.I had to go up one size because of my orthotics. I had plenty of toe room and no slip in the back of the heel.
I wanted to replace my old Merrell boots when they started to let water in and these looked ok. I do not have wide feet and these are a wide fit but I thought more space for thick socks. I usually go half size up with a boot that needs a winter sock but these run big so I returned and sized down to my normal size. The back of the boot hits in a different spot to my old pair and needs me to wear this in. The laces seem to work there way undone easily which is so annoying so I may change out the laces. But overall I am happy with these boots.
Another great pair of Merrells
Very poor customer service. ! Hurt my feet to the point I can’t wear them. Amazon or Columbia would not accept a return. Do not Buy through Columbia.
I was about to write a negative review of these boots. I ordered a pair for me and a pair for my wife (who is the real hiker between us), and I thought they wore out too quickly. I called my son, a podiatrist practicing in Florida, complaining that my hiking boots didn’t last as long as I wanted. He suggested I review the mileage I had on them before giving a final evaluation. I reviewed my recorded history of hiking in the boots and calculated that I had covered around 750 miles. My son advised me to “get real” and recognize that it was excellent mileage for a pair of boots at that price point. They are as comfortable as, or more comfortable than, other shoes I have worn while hiking a rocky single-track trail.
