Durable Breathable Boot
I haven't worn these boots yet, purchased as replacement. I have worn Merrell boots for year. The are light weight, breathable boot. The soles are durable, having lasted longer than other brands I have tried. The insides also wear well. There is a roomy toe box. This boot easily slides on and off (I use a shoe horn). There is enough shoe string to double knot the laces, which I do. I walk about 5 miles a day in this brand. The soles have excellent traction for wet payment.

Deceiving
I bought these and wore them for 2 months now, only to find out its a woman shoe. I thought they were just more narrow than average and would break in. When inwent through all the check out it said men and didn't think about reading the toe of the shoe until now.

Eyelets tear easily
So disappointed! I have bought Merrell brand for many years and have always been happy. These boots are light and comfortable; however, after just a few months, a total of 3 eyelets have ripped. The shoes themselves are in great shape but having the eyelets rip, the boots become unusable. I sewed the first two back together as well as I could but that repair only lasted a few weeks. Plus sewing them is not easy since there is no extra material to sew once they tear. Poor value for what I paid.
