Best shoes I've ever had and I am picky. I bought these for light hiking and walking on the beach for my first trip to Oregon's central coast. They offer a lightweight feel with great support and stability. I wore them all day and I felt like I wasn't wearing shoes, they were so comfortable. I still wear them bird watching. I hope to be whale watching in Maine and my shoes will be on my feet keeping them dry and comfortable.
These hiking shoes are made well, have great support, fit nicely and kept my feet dry! It took no time at all to break in. They were comfortable on day 1. True to size for me.
These fit true to size and are comfortable out ot the box. Nice wide toe box, perfect length, good insole, sturdy structure. I am wearing them on a few long walks before hiking. I have not tested the waterproofness of them.
These shoes fit well and offer great traction on wet surfaces. They are heavier than a running shoe but that provides stability that would be useful for hiking. Biggest disadvantage is that the laces repeatedly loosen which is annoying. Had to figure out how to knot them so they didn’t come easily undone. Otherwise comfortable for long travel days.
My wife has loved Merrells since my mother introduced her to their mocs probably 20+ years ago. These are also a fantastic value. They're comfortable and look good. Great brand and product.
True to size, roomy toe box, comfortable footbed, decent traction, great light duty hikers. I’ve worn them walking through Guatemalan jungle on vacation and across icy parking lots into work, and my feet are happy.
I love these shoes. I love them so much. They are ridiculously comfortable. I work in parks and rec, and I wear them every day at work. After 14 months of regular use I have worn them out. The shoes themselves are in excellent condition but the fabric loops the shoe strings run through have broken - several on each shoe - and now the shoelaces themselves have frayed to the point that one is actually separated with just the core remaining. It is very upsetting because I do love these shoes but they are pretty much unwearable now because they don’t hold the tightness in the lacing any longer, and even replacing the laces won’t help because of the loops being broken. I highly recommend these, just maybe not for every day use if you like your shoes tied tight. They have decent water resistance and I feel like I never have to wipe mud off them as the treads so easily drop whatever they pick up. Even big thorns can sink in and I don’t feel it at all.
