Walking around town and hikes in woods were made comfortable in these boots right out of the box. They are slip- ons. I usually wear a 7.5-8 and purchased a size 8. The laces cannot be tightened on foot but there is a tightener in back of boot around lower leg. Easy to clean with soap and water. I liked them enough to order another pair on sale for future use.
Got these for a trip to Alaska. They were comfortable right out of the box, wore them right away. Keep my feet warm and dry.
Wanted to love these boots but unfortunately they have a major design flaw. Only the bungee at the back of the shoe tightens. The front is impossible to adjust as it is sewn in place on both sides (see yellow circle on photo) so you are left with loose bungee cord at the front. Assuming this would catch on items so these are going back. If Merrell would make these shoes with an adjustable bungee the whole way around and this shoe would be keeper.
Size 11 is just too short to be comfortable...not true to size. Loved the boot, but along with being a tad too short, they are also narrow. Sadly, I had to return because they don't make a 12.
My dogs decided to use these as a toy in the backyard after I'd done some gardening so I had to order another pair. I absolutely love these shoes. They're my travel shoes, hike around Iceland shoes, lounge around town shoes. They're so comfortable and versatile.
These boots are very comfortable. They have a great nonslip sole. I have neuropathy and finding a boot that works for me is difficult. These work!!! Plus easy on off style.
These boots are so comfy. Would definitely recommend.
