Better than my $170 sneakers
I was getting tired of paying a fortune for my sneakers, so having worn Merrell hiking boots (I have two pairs) and loving them, when I found out Merrell has sneakers, I gave them a try. Oh my goodness, these are SO comfortable! Absolutely no break-in time, just like my hiking boots. They offer good cushioning and arch support. The sole is also durable. They could be used for hiking, but I use them on the street for walking and jogging. The only thing I don't love is the laces, but they still deserve five stars because of the comfort and high-quality construction.

Great shoes, Horrible laces!
These shoes are so comfortable and attractive! Not at all waterproof but that's not the claim. The biggest problem I've had with them are the laces. Yes, they're cute, but they are absolutely the worst laces I have ever had for staying tied! Even when I knot them over the bow, they STILL come untied. It's a nightmare puzzle of physics. I'd happily buy another pair if Merrell would just put some thought into designing laces that stay tied!

Less supportive than I'd hoped
Decent shoe, fit my standard 8-1/2 feet well. Somewhat "soft" and while the footbed feels supportive, the mushiness is fatiguing in the long run.

Great fit!
I love the color and support of this shoes . The width even in the regular size seems a bit wider than on average . I maybe could try the wider size if I purchase again but, it fits well enough to wear to work all day so I’m happy and it has good traction and seems to be well made
