Extremely comfortable sandal!
I bought these for, and wore them on, a 2-week trip to Italy during which I walked 15K+ steps a day. I didn’t have high expectations due to the relatively inexpensive price point, but these sandals surpassed them!Pros- extremely comfortable with good arch support.- fairly neutral but fun colorway went with most clothes from hiking to casual dresses (I am not a fashionista though, so take that with a grain of salt)- excellent traction even on wet Italian cobblestones- appear to be durable; showing very little signs of wear even after all that walking- very lightweight and packableCons- as others have mentioned, the Velcro on the back strap needs to be longer. For people with narrow ankles like myself, only about 1/2 inch of Velcro meets due to how long the strap is- toe strap get dirty quickly (but also washes well)- like all webbing-type sandals, these start to smell after a few days of intense walking in the heat. I just washed them in the sink and that fixed the issue.Overall, I’m highly satisfied with these sandals and recommend to anyone looking for a durable, comfortable, casual sandal.

Casual and comfy - but no good for plantar fasciitis
I got a pair of these sandals to have something fresh at the ready for summer. First few wears were terrific, everything I expected. I liked them so well that I ordered a second pair! However, after a couple of weeks of wear, I have discovered that these sandals are not supportive enough to protect against a plantar fasciitis flare. Very disappointed, because otherwise these sandals were perfect for a versatile, casual walkabout summer shoe.

Beautiful and comfortable sandals. I always use Merrell for their quality and durability and they never disappoint. It has three positions with velcro for greater adjustment. I am size 8, my foot measures 25 cms. I recommend them if you need comfortable sandals, they do not require adjustment time and are also very pretty.

Walking miles on hot, bumpy, European sidewalks? Wading at the shore? Light hiking on the Amalfi Coastal trails? This is the shoe for you! With adjustable Velcro strapping across the toes and arch, this sandal will fit most, with all day comfort. The rubber sole is at least 1/2 inch in thickness, so each footstep is cushioned. Fits true to size. I am 77 years old and have arch problems, but not when I wear this sandal. I own two pairs.
