Great boot - runs a little small

This is a great boot, but the toe box runs a little narrow so I ordered up 1/2 size and the fit is perfect.

A bit tighter than Antora 3s

After falling in love with my summer weight Antora 3s, I decided to get a winter-weight pair. These were significantly marked down as prior season version, so I went with them. They're doing the trick, but they're nowhere near as comfortable as my Antora 3s.For both pair, I use inserts to support my low arches. In my Antora 3s I could fit in fleece lined supports no problem, which helped give some added warmth to them. But with these, the fleece ones are just too big. That's because these shoes RUN SMALL. They're tight across the upper part of my foot (with or without any insert). I was able to fit in slim-line arch supports, but unfortunately not the warm ones I wanted for winter.I've been wearing these for a while now & they're holding their waterproofing. And they're starting to stretch out. Perhaps in time I'll be able to fit in those fleece inserts.I do notice that they're more loose in the ankle despite being tight across the upper part of my foot above the ball of it.If I had it to do again, I'd spend the extra money for the newer version. I don't like these as much. But I guess that's why they were unloading them at a discount.

Merrell no longer the quality long lasting product it used to be

Within two mth the inner sheepskin began ripping. Now just one year later the stitching on the top of the outer right boot is coming unraveled. This is the second pair this year of merrell boots that have done this to me this year. Contacted product support. They basically said because I bought it on Amazon. They would not honor replacing them done with Merrell brand

Excellent boot and very high quality.

This was too small so size up. Also felt the back heal area was too high and made my ankle sore. Maybe would be better after breaking them in.
