Great shoes to hike and swim in rainforest
I bought these shoes for my trip to Puerto Rico. Worn them to El Yunque rainforest twice. Hiked on muddy trails, trekked through river, swam through river, walked on rocks by waterfalls. The shoes did amazing. They did stay damp after swimming in them but were not soaked sponges like regular sneakers would be. Also they provided good amount of protection against rocks, roots, etc. I washed them by hand to remove dirt and mud and they are ready for the next adventure.These run true to size. My feet are wide and width was great for me. I did not have time to break them in so put them on for a day long trip and did not get any blisters or pain (also wore them with thin socks). Great shoes for adventures!

Not just a water shoe
Love these shoes! I have very fussy feet: bunions, blisters, you name it. I got the shoes for a trip to Costa Rica in the hopes that they'd serve as both water shoes and hiking shoes. 100% success! They drain well and dry quickly, allowing only sand inside, no annoying little rocks. Good for mucky trail hiking, too. I wore quick dry low socks and had not a single blister. They're fine sockless as well. Reasonable width and toe room accommodated my bunions nicely.I have to say they're not particularly lovely, but they're not hideous. Function absolutely tops form!

Love these but lets in girt and small rocks Can’t tighten at ankle
I love these. Bought my regular size Fit great out of the box. However the little mesh sections that let in air also let in grit. I was walking on a city street not expecting any grit, but apparently there is plent6 of grit on street surfaces and now in my shoes. I am not a person who wears socks, but I will have to with these shoes, which seems to defeat the purpose of the ventilation. Also there doesnt seem to be a way to use the holes by the ankle to tighten the ankle, without cutting the lace, buy8ng a new elastic lace and relacing the shoe.

Great hiking water shoe
I purchased these for a trip to Hawaii and have not worn them on a proper hike yet but I’ve been wearing them on my daily walks to break them in and I’m happy to report they’ve required no break-in time! Comfy right off the bat and no blisters without socks. Happy to recommend!
