Cute shoe, odd fit
I saw these and had immediate nostalgia for my childhood growing up near the Texas-Mexico border. They are as adorable IRL as they are online! They seem well-made and like they will hold up over time. However (and this is perhaps more a 'me' problem, as I have strange feet), the heel area is quite large, while the front of the foot squeezes my toes uncomfortably. So, if you, like me, have a somewhat narrower heel and wider toe box, this probably won't be super comfy for you. Also (and this is the main reason for the reduction of one star, since the shoemaker can't make a shoe to fit all foot shapes), the embroidery on top of the shoe can be felt inside the shoe, and I think this will rub uncomfortably after wearing the shoes for a while (would be nice for there to be something covering the underside of the embroidery). My plan is to wear them around the house for short bursts, increasing the time with each wear, in the hope the shoe will eventually shape around my foot and my foot will become accustomed to the feel of the embroidery. Overall, I think the shoes are high quality and worth the purchase price!

Really cute shoes!
These shoes are adorable, I LOVE them! They are made from genuine leather which is unusual but I feel leather molds to your foot better than man made materials and is ultimately more comfortable. These are a perfect summer shoe/sandal with the white braided leather allowing more air to your foot so less heat. The length is true to size but they are wider than a regular B width because I wear a D on a lot of shoes and these fit me great. So if you have narrow feet you might need to wear a no show sock or get the leather a little damp while wearing to shrink them a bit. The color white with the embroidered pastel colored flowers is truly beautiful!Now there are a couple negatives that I need to mention. The first is the advertising on Amazon says water resistant and how anything can be water resistant when it's full of holes or spacing because of the braiding is simply beyond my comprehension... no bueno. The second is the way they are packaged for shipping in a very small box. They are packed heel to toe as are all shoes but there is no paper or shoe forms or cardboard to reinforce holding the shoe's shape, sooo consequentially the heels were smashed down and wrinkled and do not straighten out when wearing. Just doesn't look very good. The last thing is the actual shoe making. The right shoe has the braid going back farther on the ankle side and is stiffer or larger so it is not as comfortable as the left.Even with these negatives, I still love these shoes and would buy them again in a heartbeat!

These are very cute, and I love the colors and design. They are a bit stiff, and I imagine I would get blisters if I didn't add heel pads. These run about a half size too big; even with the heel pads, they are still too big. They are very cute, I love the color and design. I would size down and add a heel pad for comfort. The material is nice, just a bit stiff.

Beautiful, classic handmade leather you need in your summer rotation
When I opened the shipping box these arrived in, I immediately caught that familiar, beloved smell of real leather. These sandals just have that amazing scent of hand tooled, quality dyed leather. The stitching on the leather was beautiful and the fit was pretty good. They are a little big down the sides of my feet (and those of my 14yo who wears the same size), so I was thinking the leather strips that run along the length probably could have been just a bit shorter. Real leather would stretch to fit perfectly as it is. When we added heel grips to the back of the shoe, the fit was greatly improved. Still, the price was fantastic for a quality, classic handmade summer shoe. I cannot wait to wear these to dinner or around this summer. They are really so nicely made.

Very uncomfortable
These are are hard no for me. I usually like woven shoes but these were wildly uncomfortable. I think even with a larger size they would be painful. The inner weaving cuts into your toes. They also had an incredible strong chemical order when I opened the box which really lingered. The color and design were as advertised.

Beautifully made, a little stiff, but my daughter loves them
I ordered these shoes for my daughter. The pattern is beautiful and vibrant. The leather on the inside is a little scratchy on the sides but the bottom and top are softer. They are stiff, hopefully they will break in. They run a little small because she is a size seven and the size eight fits her. Overall, they are great shoes and she is excited to wear them.
