I’ve had my eye on a pair of huaraches for a while, and these seemed like a cool option.Out of the box, they feel like a solid, well-made shoe with quality materials. The downside is that the back cuts into my Achilles a bit.. Not enough to break the skin, but enough to require socks for now. They also run slightly tight, but I’m hopeful they’ll stretch with wear. The pointed toe is more pronounced than I expected, and I’m still deciding how I feel about that.That said, I’m giving them a fair shot to break in and grow on me. Good quality and style shoe.

These shoes...

Are made from very unprocessed materials, and as such, they are very stiff and unforgiving at first. I cannot wear these without socks because they tear up my feet, and only wear them around the house. I'm trying to break these in and hope they'll become more comfortable once broken in. These shoes run 1/2 to 1 size large, and mine are a bit big for my feet. My review may be revised in the future, but right now I'm having a tough time wearing these.

Strange Design, But Even More Strangely Comfortable

These shoes look really cool in the picture, but in reality look a bit stranger than that. That isn't to say that the photos are inaccurate, it is just that it's one of those things that seem much cooler in your head than they are in reality, if that makes any sense. However, seeing as this is a 5-star review, you're probably wondering how I came to a positive conclusion anyway ~First off, these shoes are extremely comfortable - and more so than they should be based on how they look. They would seem to be ridged and tight, but it's quite on the contrary. I wear a size 10, and these were pretty much spot-on (I do have very "standard" sized feet, so keep that in mind if you have wide feet or super narrow feet). Walking around too I didn't need to wear them in too much for them to feel pretty good - and there wasn't any unpleasant rubbing that I could feel.Weirdly enough too, these shoes are built really well with some heavy-duty stitching along the outside edge. I don't know when or where I would wear these appropriately, but I've been rocking them as my daily shoes for a few days now and I honestly can't complain. If you can find a good outfit or style to match it, even better, but just from a comfort standpoint, I have to say they're pretty great.

They are really nice but they are too big/long. I could not find a way to fix this. I would definitely recommend these if you want just get full size smaller than you normally wear. This is a handmade product from Mexico. It is the style with rubber sole and not leather.
