These are great huaraches. Was going on an up-scale vacation in a very warm climate. Needed just the right shoe and these fit the bill perfectly. I ordered my typical size. When they arrived I had to use a shoe-horn the get them on. They felt tight. Having huaraches in the past I knew that they stretch out after a couple of wearings so I wore them around the inside of the house for a couple of days. They wen't from feeling a tad too tight to fitting perfectly after just a couple of hours of wear. I've now returned from my trip after wearing them for a few hours each evening over 2 weeks and they are still great. I recommend them and would buy them again. Also, nice packaging from this seemingly small company that makes them. Nice touch.

Great leather sandals

I was looking for ways to improve my summer wardrobe when I came across these huaraches (sandals). I live minutes away from the US/Mexico border, but we have not crossed over in a very long time. These sandals remind me of the ones you could find in some of the nicer stores in Mexico. As soon as you pull these out of the box, you get that rich leather smell. The sole of the sandal is thin but comfortable. The leather stays soft and flexible, and you get plenty of ventilation to keep your feet feeling good. The leather feels very good, and you can tell it is a premium product. I wear a 9.5US, and this fit very well. I used it for my outfit for our Charro Days celebrations we have here in March, but I will definitely keep using them, especially for the summer. They look great and feel like they should last for a while. Easy recommendation.

they will stretch

I was just about to send them back because they felt tight. As I walked around the house, I realized that they began to loosen up. I normally wear a 9.5 but that's with socks. these sandals are not designed for socks. I don't imagine that I would be happy with a size 10. loose shoes are unbearable. I would recommend the bean soak trick. leather straps tend to stretch.
