their size chart is intimidating & confusing; the uppers are unusually narrow; will they stretch??

not crazy about the odor, but i'm confident they'll air out in a week or two.these are unusually narrow, in the uppers. i don't know yet if i'll be able to wear them --it depends how much the uppers stretch out with use. overall, i'm not really impressed with the craftsmanship here. i expect better from 'heche en mehico'. i suspect there's more machine work here than the image they'd like to project.so i'll give them a provisional three stars. if they become (comfortably) wearable, they'll go up to four. if they don't, they'll drop to two.
