Cheap material, toe color is really odd

I am super bummed about these...they are all around bad for my personal taste. Some thoughts below:- The material is very plastic and cheap looking. They look like they will be a good faux leather but they are very shiny and look like plastic.- The toe color is so weird to me. It is such a drastic color change, they look like you just walked through wet grass! Maybe thats the style with riding boots, but they look bad to me.- I was worried about the height of the shaft as it would hit on the largest part of my calf, but its actually not as bad I thought it would be!- The shaft is wide enough for a large calf and they are very easy to get on and off.- True to size! I am between and 8-8.5 and went with the 8.5 so I could wear thicker socks and they fit well.Overall, its a no for me. The cheap material and weird coloration at the toe ruins it! But if this is your style, they are very comfortable!
