Good cleats for kids- great for hard ground
These cleats perform well, fit well for the size ordered, and are great for kids. My son has worn a number of cleats in the past from various brands, but these are his favorite. He is 10, and not yet at a level where spending big bucks on soccer boots makes since.I would recommend these as a good pair of "starter" boots because the FG cleat design is suitable for playing on harder grounds (and also walking around in your cleats like kids do), but will also provide traction on sloppy surfaces. I personally have indoor, turf, firm ground, and spikes that I play in, but my foot has been this size for decades and I had time to collect different pairs. These would be a great option as a kid's only pair of boots (assuming you don't play indoor).Finally, I really like that these cleats don't have the elastic fit upper that most modern cleats have. I like that for my own boots, but it made it really hard for my son to put his cleats on before games. I also feel like this style is more durable than the thin elastic fabric uppers.These might not be the top of the line speed cleats on the market, but for a beginner soccer player, these cleats are easy to put on and do the job.

Simple, sleek design
We ordered these for our son in the hopes that he would take to soccer. It has definately helped, getting him special soccer equiment, but these ran a big bigger than we hoped. He normally wears a 1 but these 13.5 is still just a tad too big for his liking. I think he could manage, we will save them for later in the season or next year.

Nice soccer spikes
My 8.5-yo is playing his 3rd season and I’m anticipating a growth spurt. I ordered these a half size up from what he’s wearing now and they are just shy of fitting him, which I knew that going in and that was my expectation (but I know he’ll need them shortly when he wakes up and his toes are sticking out of the front of his current ones on a random Tuesday - IYKYK). These seem well made and cushioned. He had no issues putting them on and likes the design and look of them. We didn’t know what his team colors were yet this season so we went with the charcoal even though the yellow ones were so cool looking. I don’t think you can go wrong with either purchase.

Size is too big
These cleats are too big. I ordered size 6 for my son who wears size 6 tennis shoes, and they are way too big. They mostly fit my son who wears size 8 tennis shoes. I say mostly because even though they’re closer to the right length, his heels slip up when he walks or runs in them. Inside the shoe there is size 39 marked, which I’m guessing is euro kids size. That should be equivalent to a US size 7, UK size 6. It’s so hard to buy shoes online because even the sizing charts online don’t match up. They look nice, but the outer material feels like plastic. Disappointing.
