Sturdy and comfortable.

I was attracted to these because of their side zippers and cushioned sole and hopefully to keep my feet warm.The first thing I noticed when I tried them on was initially how comfortable they were. I have nerve damage in my foot so I rarely find this the case with even the most expensive shoes I have tried on. Also why I rarely buy shoes from the internet but I had the opportunity to try these out and they were reasonably priced at the time tested for the features offered. The toe box felt very roomy with space to wiggle my toes but they felt true to size.The other thing I noticed immediately was how warm my feet felt. These are not lined or insulated by any means but they felt like my feet were going to be able to stay warm when I wore them. An issue I also have because of nerve damage.I took these on a walk with the dogs without any break in period and they were so comfortable and kept my feet from overheating and getting sweaty but they also weren't cold either despite it being a cold day. It is very hilly where we live so I often walk up and down hills on my approximate mile long walk and at the end of the walk my knees felt so much better than they normally do. My toes also enjoyed the extra space in the toe box and didn't suffer from any hotspots or wear points that new shoes or improperly fitting shoes might do. They were so easy to get my feet out of with the YKK zippered sides while juggling crazy dogs eager to get inside while also giving really solid ankle support. The hook and loop closure is very strong and stayed put during the walk but was still able to easily be pulled off to lower the zipper.Overall, I have been wearing these for an extended period and they have been only getting more comfortable on our walks. I really like them a lot and highly recommend them for anyone looking for good support for a reasonable cost.

Super comfortable and supportive
When I first unpacked these boots, I had to put them on the porch to air out, as the chemical odor was so strong and offensive. I’d check them every couple of days, nope…still stink to high heaven.Finally, after nearly two weeks, they were OK, so I put them on, and was so happy! I have one normal foot, and one with lots of issues, so I am always in search of footwear that works for me. I need lots of room in the toe box, and lots of padding in the sole.Being female, I ordered a size 7, since men’s shoes are generally two sizes larger. They are a perfect fit! Sufficient toe box room and a supportive, thick enough sole that makes walking in them a pleasure. I live in hiking boots, and these are right on up there in terms of comfort.I love the sole materials…they look quite different. It works, so that’s what really matters.The side zipper is a great idea, and in this case, there is a protective strap over the zipper, however, due to arthritic hands, the zippers are too difficult for me to operate. Not that big a deal, just won’t be able to take advantage of this nice feature. I’d have to untie them anyway, due to the difficulty of getting the messed up toes into them and seated properly.I don’t find the last lace hole to be of benefit, so I am tying these stopping one hole down. They just aren’t as comfortable when laced all the way up. Not a big deal, and I have other shoes that I have to treat the same way.They aren’t too heavy at all, tho they look tough. Well made. Like the waterproof feature. Looking forward to wearing them a good amount.

Very good for inexpensive shoes
I normally wear size 11 or 11W in men's shoes and I ordered 11.5 and it fits well but does have extra room in the toe so I would say the shoe runs narrow so if you have wide feet a half size larger is good.I have a lot of foot problems and I stand for long periods of time on a hard floor so shoes are important to me. These shoes without changing the insoles work fairly well for me. The insole is rather cheap and has little cushion so I had low expectations but the cushion air of the shoes works well so I did have a small amount of foot pain but it is less than other shoes I wear to work which is impressive. I will likely replace the insole with a more cushioning one to make these even better.The shoe itself seems decent quality. The toe, heel, and laces are leather but the rest of the side and tougue are a canvas material. The shoe does appear somewhat inexpensive looking but seems well made and durable. I imagine the air cushion will wear out first but I don't expect it to pop in the short-term and it does feel durable when I press on it.The shoe is fairly cheap for how nice it is so I would say this is a very good buy. All the KEFUWU shoes I have tried on have been good quality and this is no exception. It claims to be water proof/resistant but that means they sprayed a chemical so it doesn't absorb water. It's design will not prevent your foot from getting wet if you step in a deep puddle but should be effective for shallow puddles and rain.
