My experience with these things, I have to honestly say, have been the worst experience I've had with anything from Amazon before.For a low price, we all try to find what we can get when it comes to quality. I bought these for my daughter in hopes of something to dress up in. She's a shoe-holic and she's only 3 so cheap is the way to go.First off, with no issue caused by the vendor, my package became "lost". Gotta love when that happens. And then it just showed up on my doorstep days later. Again no fault of the vendor.I opened them up, and my daughter loved them. But what I didn't expect was that these shoes are the Ikea of shoes. We all know how light up shoes work. You walk or run and they light up. My daughter being one to love flashy things and sparkles made this desirable. She even picked them out herself. In your package, you receive the instructions on light replacement, 4 backup batteries, and the shoes. Awesome.These shoes lasted literally, 2 hours. With all of the batteries. They already come with 2 inside of the shoes. So 6 batteries in total.When they step on them, you can hear the button click. Because to activate them, the button underneath the double insert needs pressure. That's fine. But once they start walking, the lights don't stop.These would be cool for a one night, one hour, event stroll at your local fair, Christmas stroll, summer stroll, school dance, etc. But if the event is longer than that, don't count on them. I bought them for minor play. But for the same price I could have gone to Walmart and gotten her a cheaper pair of light up shoes that I know for a fact last well over a year. Trust me, she has them.To replace the battery, you lift up the 2 layers of insert, pull the battery out, lay the new one in the given slot, and reinsert the pads. On one single shoe I used all 4 of the replacements. I couldn't replace the other shoe due to the battery and the lights strings inside of them being tapered down by something I couldn't physically figure out. I assumed hot glue. I was wrong. A knife couldn't pry it apart. I physically gave up. And at that point, her 2 hours of fun was over.For 2 hours of fun is it worth it, sure. But don't think these will last even half of the day at school. Go to Walmart. Or Payless. Because these were a long nightmare for me today. Had to hide them due to the disappointment I received from my daughter due to the fact I couldn't make them light up anymore. They became a weapon in the hands of a really pissed off 3 year old. I'll be going to Walmart on my next pay day lmao.

Super cute, and really lightweight
These shoes are super cute. Got the pink sparkly ones because my daughter had a pair of pink sparkly shoes from Dollar General that were her all time favorite shoes, but she grew out of them, and when I found these ones I was so excited for the fact that they were pink sparkly slip on shoes and would light up. After receiving them, they are WAY more sparkly then the DG ones, the soles are thicker, and they are just as cute. As soon as my daughter saw what they were she HAD to put them on, and she wore them for about 3 hours. When she took them off, one shoe stopped working, then this morning when we went to put them on, they both had stopped working. No big deal we have the replacement lights, which is awesome that they came with them. Not awesome is how stinkin hard it is to change the lights. The instructions are pretty clear until it’s time to take the old lights out. No idea if you’re supposed to soak them in water first, or wash them, or just sit them in a container. I tried to just pull the lights out, but broke the old ones, and now I can’t get the new ones to go into the spots so the soles light up. 10/10 for cuteness 10/10 for comfort (according to my 3 year old) -5/10 for having to change the lights so soon -10/10 for how hard it is to change the lights.After not even an hour after I changed the lights they were out again. Still cute shoes, even if they don’t light up anymore

The light up part isn't that great...
They came with extra lights which are hot glued in there so it makes replacing them kind of hard. They only been worn for about 6 hours now and I had to go in a replace them both. They come with 4 light replacements however, 2 of which do not work. And getting into the shoe was pretty difficult to replace since they are hot glued to the shoe. Would have been nice if they snapped into place like the base of the lights do. The wiring is now loose in the shoe unless I hot glue them in there. The shoe itself is nice fit well.

Lights stopped working
I ordered these shoes for my daughter she's 3 size 10 shoe so I got a size up so she can have room to grow. The shoes themselves are very cute. But one of the shoes lights already stopped working and she's only worn them once. It came with replacement lights but I'm disappointed the lights didn't last at least a FEW wears. Hopefully the replacement lights last a long time.

My great niece loves them!
I bought these as a present for my great niece's second birthday. She loves them! And they came with plenty of replacement light packs, so they'll last as long as her foot fits the shoe. My nephew (her dad) said she wears these shoes everyday!
