Good groundfeel and general walking comfort; run hot.
I've purchased a couple other pairs of this style from other brands. They're overall good barefoot shoes with good groundfeel and protection from what you're feeling. I can feel the texture of the road, the sidewalk, manhole covers, and gravel, but none of it hurts or cuts into my feet. Very interesting experience. It's like a slight improvement on being barefoot. They are not flawless though. The form is a little lacking in breathability. The fabric portion doesn't wick sweat away and is surprisingly insulating. My feet do get a bit sweaty if I wear them for a full day. This particular manufacture is also a little small in foot volume. I have that magical combo of flat feet high volume, so they felt a wee bit tight across my metatarsals when I was first putting them on, but once I got my foot in them once they loosened just enough for a firm grip. Almost perfect for laceless shoes. The downside of this style is they're not made to last. The soles are soft and will wear. If you wear them daily, and walk a few miles a day, they won't last a year. But they're inexpensive and comfortable, so I'm okay with replacing them every six months to a year.
