I bought a pair of each of my kids before an outdoor/hiking heavy vacation and they were awesome! All kids think they're comfortable, they are durable, and a huge value compared to buying the expensive name brands for kids who are just going to outgrow them in a few months. Big fan.
We needed hiking boots for my children. I was able to get a name brand for my daughter on sale but did not have my son's size. Price was a factor but I didn't want to sacrifice quality. Sizing was an issue too. My son has wide feet. He hasn't mastered shoe tying yet.These shoes are lightweight and good looking. I liked the blue tones and the pop of orange. The sole looked durable. It was easy for my son to put on himself. He even wore them to school and they looked great.Two places stand out where we tested these shoes. We went to a really muddy lakebed where the lake had all but evaporated. The shoes held up. Threw them in washer and they were fine. Next terrain was a rocky area with a lot of foot traffic. Wearing sneakers was not ideal. People were slipping and falling. Good thing my kids had hiking boots on. It might have saved them from tumbling down a rocky hill.Overall, it's a versatile shoe, easy to wear, good looking shoe that washes well and has good grip.
I bought these for my 2 year old because he loves the YouTube star Blippi who wears orange and teal. I've never seen my kid so excited about a pair of shoes.I can't tell you exactly how they fit because he can't tell me, but I can say he loves to wear them, can run easily, and his feet stay dry in our wet area. He even wore them in the snow for a short walk and he was fine. They are sturdy like a hiking boot but seem to still bend easily. We live in a rainy rural area and these have survived so far. They still look nice enough that we may pass them onto our daughter when he grows out of them.One thing that's a bit important to note is that there is glitter in the elastic bands. My son didn't care since he's only 2, but if youve got a middle school boy who won't appreciate the glitter then be warned. Lol.
These are a great little hiking shoe for my toddler. They prevent her from slipping and even are comfortable splashing through the creeks. My only complaint is they are a little tight to get on. She always requires my help.
Sturdy, good soles for long class hikes, durable yet flexible. Given the fabric like texture, I was concerned about rainy days, but these are just fine. My grandson has wide feet and these are excellent in that regard!
These are great! I got them for my 4 yo who we took camping. We went hiking almost everyday and he was a real trooper, did not complain once about his feet and when asked if he liked the shoes and if they were comfortable he said yes. He normally wears a 11.5 but we sized up so they would fit him next year as well.
I got these boots for a lot of hiking in Hawai’i. They had great ankle support, we’re grippy enough I felt safe climbing on rocks. They did not do too well with water resistance but otherwise great shoes.
