Faux Suede Slippers
I ordered the MIXIN Men’s Winter Snow Boots for my husband so he would have something nicer looking than work boots to wear when it snows. When I received an email that confirmed my order for men’s “slippers”, I suspected something was off. The boots we received match the pictures online. They have sueded fabric uppers, cording for laces, hard rubber soles, a fuzzy lining, and memory foam insoles. However, they are not “winter snow boots”; they are slippers and much too lightweight for prolonged outdoor wear in harsh weather.When my husband put them on, the slippers were very loose at the ankles but quite tight in both the width at the ball of his foot and the height at his instep. Additionally, the ends of the cord laces are sewn on to the inside of each slipper. The cords are not covered by the tongue and the laces rub uncomfortable against bare skin. My husband is trying to figure out a way to cut the laces from inside the slippers and tie them on the outside to eliminate the irritation. Wearing socks helped alleviate the lace discomfort somewhat and after a few hours wear, the slippers began to stretch out a bit.If these “boots” continue to relax, my husband will have some warm house slippers which can tolerate an occasional trip outdoors to the mailbox. He could never wear these loose fabric slippers in the snow. I am reducing my rating by one star because of the snow boot claim; they should be listed as winter slippers, not snow boots. I deducted another star for the suede description; these are microsuede fabric. Finally, they don’t even fit well thanks to the painful lace assembly and the pinching through the instep and width. For the same price, I could have ordered a name-brand slipper that I know my husband finds comfortable.

Warm and comfortable.
My son loves these. Very warm and comfortable. Of course These kinds of shoes don't offer much foot support for doing like activities and running etc. But they are warm and comfy. Also, you can't tighten the laces, you have to kind of make your own knot if needed. I say that because I had to go up a size because they didn't have my son's exact size. So they're a little loose. But they're true to size and you'll have plenty of room for thick socks.

These are slipper boots! Sloots, if you would! :)They are reasonably well made, very soft and warm and not too terribly goofy looking! Actually, I feel that they mesh well enough with current styles, they just are quite slipper looking to me! While very plush and cozy with a fair amount of padding in the sole, I wouldn’t recommend these for use in slippery cold conditions, the bottoms are textured but still of a slickish material. They aren’t hazardous per se, but in wet or icy conditions I wouldn’t rely on them and for an elderly person or someone with mobility issues I’d use them indoors only.For their current asking price of $24.99, they are a good purchase for exactly what they are; SLOOTS!! My spouse eyeballed them with a look that suggested that he’s not sure about them bit is still pretty sure that when chills come calling he will happily snug into their comfort and convenience as a quick to slip on, cozy boot for jaunts out and about. Sizing is just what we expected, they fit well and appear to be made well enough to stand up to use if not abuse. The black is saturated an suede-y, Im not sure about these being waterproof but doubt a small bit of damp would get through or do harm.
