This shoe is super comfortable, and has a wide toe box to allow ample toe splay. The fabric has give, but also has great support. It corrects pronation really well, and has a good amount of forward roll which is typical of Mizunos. A feature that is a must in a running shoe. This shoe also has a lot of heel cushioning so just as great for power walking. This Mizuno does not disappoint!
The brand was recommended by my Surgeon/Podiatrist. I started wearing them about 7 weeks after full Achilles tendon removal. These shoes are easy on the back side of my foot and Achilles and are light. They are a little more expensive than other brands but are worth it. I normally wear a 12 but had to get a 12.5 for these as the 12 was much too short.
I wear a 14 2E shoe so those aren't easy to come by. I have always enjoyed Mizuno brand shoes as I think they are well made and fit my foot well. These are no exception. They are very comfortable to wear and I walk a lot through the day. We will see how the outside material holds up over time and that will be a big judgement point for me. But for the sale price these were at, it was a great deal.
These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn in a long time. I bought these because a friend recommended them, I am on my feet on concrete for 9–10 hours a day and blow through shoes pretty regularly. These are made well and I think will hold up.Also, their customer service is top notch! I had an issue with them and they contacted me immediately to resolve my issue! Will definitely buy more pairs!!
Fitness Background: Getting back into Half Marathon form while also training for my first full marathon.Miles Per Week on Purchase: 10-12Current Miles Per Week: 20-24Weight: 176lbsHad the previous version of this, but it felt too snug. One foot would ache and the other would go numb about the 3 mile mark every time. But I liked the shoe. I still wear it for day to day stuff cause it looks good.So I ordered this despite only having like 50 miles on the previous version, but in 2E/Wide. PERFECT. My foot has a little room to move and once it swells it fits absolutely perfectly.I've used this shoe on concrete, asphalt, and gravel trails. Absolutely zero complaints. Still learning how long it'll take me to wear 'em out. I'm at 254.6 miles as of writing on these bad boys, but I feel like they got more in the tank. I like 'em so much I have preemptively bought a second pair of them for once the first pair finally needs to be retired.
Had Mizuno shoes for a couple years and needed something new. The new styles are great and they are so light and comfortable and supportive. Really sold on the brand.
