Ideal Running Shoe
The best Wave Inspires to date! I've had multiple iterations of these shoes through the years and this is by far the best version. Having dealt with shin splints for decades, these have been the only shoe that work well for me and they have only improved.My most recent pair (Inspire 18) lasted a year, about 250 miles and had major holes along the heal. I went from a size 11 to 10.5 with these to see if that would help and they're great. I think these are absolutely true to size, but I wanted less movement of the heal.The heal of the Inspire 21's is raised slightly from the 18's and there's more cushion. It's the same great running shoe, but improved where it matters. No break in time required, ran 3 miles at an 8 minute split with no issues. I felt more energy in my legs with these than the 18's and stability.Only negative I have is the cost. My first few pairs of Wave Inspires were $100-$115, so $140 is a big bump in price. For the quality and comfort, they are worth it. I will absolutely buy more pairs for future years if they go on sale.

These are my third pair of waves. They change the model a bit, but still an excellent running shoe. I run about 15~20 miles a week. They are cushioned, but over the top. A stable work horse regular guy shoe.
