This is a Serious Super Trainer!
These are easily the most comfortable running shoes I have ever worn. I run 4 to 6 marathons a year and have done Boston 3 times. I liked them so much, I immediately bought a second pair and will most likely buy a third pair to rotate with. I don’t usually wear my running shoes for just walking around in, but these are so comfortable that I have been wearing them all the time. They are incredibly lightweight, considering how cushioned they are and I really like the knit fabric uppers that are sock like and easy to slip on and off. I also really like the style too, they look pretty sleek and I get compliments and questions about them all the time. Quality seems pretty good so far and I’m satisfied with how they are holding up. I am definitely a big fan of these “super trainers”!

Trade offs with the previous version of the same shoe
I loved the previous generation of the Neo Vista and bought this update without a second thought. And four points out of five mean that it lived up to expectations but brought in some unexpected changes. The overall shoe remains wonderful. Springy, good heel fit, adequate toe box, and yes it's better ventilated than its predecessor. The one-piece topsole is somehow different from the first generation. I bought standard width. In gen1, I could lace this width up snugly and have no wrinkle of the tongue under the laces. Gen2, not so. I get a large fold of excess tongue under the laces. This may cause the following problem. With gen2, I am getting blisters. One on each foot in identical locations, at the inside of the stride (medial) right underneath the last lace gusset. These gussets reinforce the eyelets at the top of the lace-up, but they bring the lace inside the shoe right to the sock (or skin) layer. The bump, the thickness created by the lace going 'vertical' to dive through the topsole, seems to be creating a pressure point. It's amazingly focused - a tiny blister the size of a lentil, identical left and right, on the inside high on the bridge of each foot. Oddly, this is exactly the same design as the first generation, but I did not have, still do not have this blister issue with the first generation. I can wear gen2 one day and aggravate the blisters, then wear gen1 the next day and be comfy. We all know it's all about lacing, skipping some eyelets and knotting others, too tight versus too loose, and so on. My only logical conclusion here is that the new, better breathing topsole fabric is causing the folds under the laces for my average-width foot, and perhaps those folds ripple-effect something with the gussets to cause them to blister me. I like the gen2 enough that I am alternating between gen1 one day and gen2 the next , applying bodyglide to the blisters before socking up, and just hoping that the tender spots will toughen up so I can use the gen2 every day.

The best slow running shoes for long distance
The shoe's outsole is very soft and springy, providing strong rebound like adios pro 4, making it suitable for long-distance running
