The MIZUNO Inspire line of shoes has been a godsend for me since I have nearly flat feet and over pronate. I’m constantly on my feet for work and when at home I’m walking a very energetic and determined dog. They reduce fatigue, foot pain,and back pain.

First - I am a 54 year old runner/jogger, 5'11", 200 lb., average pace 7:45 - 10:00 minutes. 3-7 mile runs of varying workouts. I have struggled the last few years trying to find a classic stability shoe that suits a wide range of workouts and this it. I used for years Saucony Guide and tried Brooks Glycerin GTS but they started substituting support by having wider soles, guide rails, and thicker foam. For me, that translated to a shoe that never felt quite natural or the shoe didn't want to go faster.Pros of Inspire 21:- Entire outsole is covered by rubber, not large chunks of exposed foam. Durability is so much better, and feels like I'm gripping the ground on every step in all conditions.- Dialed in and fluid feel for faster pace workouts. Thicker foam shoes are cushy, but prone to wanting to cruise slowly, and more frictional than fluid.- Firm cushion and support. It's my preference but would rate cushion 7/10 and support 8.5/10. I overpronate and prefer the classic setup for a stability shoe. This is NOT a plush cushion feel shoe - and would argue at my weight is better to have a firmer cushion such as this shoe.Cons:- I have a slightly narrower foot, and do have to cinch up the laces pretty tight.I really, really like this shoe. As a 30 year runner who wants a traditional fit with stability, this is a great everyday shoe.
The same high quality one expects from Mizuno. The sizing is accurate and the shoes are ready for a run right out of the box.
