I like them
These absolutely give a boost during a run, they're springy shoes and have excellent grip and support. They're also really lightweight. The only downside to these are the durability isn't as high as some other models such as wave rider series and sky series.I would recommend getting these on a sale, but overall they're great for running. I've even used them for trail running (during good weather conditions) and they've stood up against the beating.

Yes, odd tongue, but a good shoe
These fit a bit narrow and have a long tongue, but if you don't mind those cons its a good shoe. One of the lightest pairs I've ever used and it great on a treadmill. The rubber is rather brittle and wears extremely fast on pavement. Over 150miles on them so far. II will probably try another brand upon replacement but may come back to these since their soo cheap now.

Way too small. Way Way too Small
For the value, for the name, and for the features this shoe is a no-show. I've had plenty of running shoes in the past. Nike Pegasus, Adidas Oregon, Brooks, and Asics Tiger. All fit right out of the box. I normally wear a size 11 wide. If there's a question about sizing I might try 11 1/2. Sketchers fit perfectly. In fact, I ordered a similar Sketchers to the Mizuno. Looks the same. Sole the same. Uppers were the same material. They just weren't Mizuno. At one time the Mizuno meant something. Sadly those days have passed. You can spend $60 on Sketchers or $120 on Mizuno. Mine were tight. The width was off. Not made for American feet I guess. The length was off too. Normally I can get a fingertip at least between the toe and tip of the shoe. With Mizuno, I tried cutting toenails really short to gain length. No go. My only way to make these work was to slice a cut from the first eyelet down about an inch. Then make a slit on the inside portion. They work now. Sad. Very sad. Not recommended for anyone at any time and anywhere.

Only for lighter weight runners
This is my second review. My first review was 2 stars because the outer sole showed significant breakdown by 200 miles, and at full retail price, this shoe was not a good value. However, at its present price, I am reconsidering having now owned 6 pairs. It is important to note that this shoe is for lighter weight runner who need a cushioned, stable shoe for fast training or racing. The Rebellion has a midsole plate (this is very imortant). The plate offers stabllty and increases the runners speed. Many brands offer plated shoes for pro or elite runners which cost more than $200. The rebellion at $80 is a good value if you are a lighter weight runner looking for a shoe that offers fast pace training, racing or comfortable long runs.

Very light
I am a long term user of Mizuno running shoes and I have tried many models. This one surprised me for how light it is (and how flimsy it looks). It has become my favorite pair and the one I pick for longer runs. I'll be buying it again when it runs out on me.
