Trying a return to neutral shoes, like these a lot so far.

This is a preliminary review - I'm a prior distance runner (mostly half marathon to 25k), but have not trained that much for a couple of years, and I am trying to get back to frequent running. I previously wore stability shoes, I was a loyal Saucony wearer, until they made a change I didn't like, and then I came over to Mizuno's that have stability, but I've noticed my pronation is much less than it used to be, and I wanted to try neutral shoes again. While I hadn't been running as much, I was wearing a cheap pair of Nike's that were awful. So I haven't been running extensively in these, yet, but initially, they have an excellent, roomy toe box, these are excellent I think for anybody with wide feet at the toe. They fit true to size to generous - I wear size 11 street and dress shoes, and this is definitely roomier than them, probably an extra half inch of length, but a totally appropriate size for running (so that is, I didn't have to size up). Very comfortable, great heel, I don't need much arch support but it doesn't seem very supportive, FWIW. Well ventilated (good in the summer / bad in the winter). Also cute with yoga pants / athleisure, again FWIW. When I bought these, in my size and color, they were really inexpensive, but I usually buy running shoes in the $75-100 range, and these are as nice as my typical running shoes, even though they cost half as much.

Love these shoes!

I've finally broken in my new shoes and have worn them for several runs and all the miles my son and I walk, so I figured I should give my raving review, because I'm totally in love with the shoes.First of all, the Mizuno website is awesome. I went through a 10 step process to find the perfect fit shoe and it really did the job. It took about 20 minutes to complete all the steps, but the end result really is the perfect fit for my foot, so I would definitely do it again. I don't know if those things change, but when I'm ready for my next pair you can bet I'm doing the steps again! It's probably much more cost effective this way, rather than going into a store and doing this and then buying $120 shoes.I'm wearing the Mizuno Wave Creation 12, which apparently is an older "model," but works well for me. I needed a ton of support for a wide foot and these seem to do the trick. I also tend to land hard on the balls of my feet when I run and these cushion perfectly. I wear between a 9 in shoes and bought a 9.5 in these after reading other reviews.I've been complaining about shin splints for months and within a week of wearing these shoes, they are completely GONE. Guess a new pair of shoes really is worth the money. The mesh top took a bit of getting used to and the high laces also were a bit uncomfortable at first, but I got used to them and never got a single blister anywhere. The mesh and high laces were simply different from what I was used to.Huge fan of Mizunos over here...I'll be singing their praises for awhile.

Great shoes, but reruns aren’t free

Shoes are great and very comfortable, I always love Mizuno and these are no exception. However, mine were the wrong size so I wanted to exchange them… they didn’t offer free returns. You might want to check on that first unless you’re sure you want to keep yours.

Great sneakers

Love these shoes. I am on my feet all day and can do up to 15 hours a shift. I switch sneakers every other day so I’m wearing these 2-3 times a week since Dec 2023. Pics of them today, almost a year later, cushioning is still great and they look like new. Most importantly, they are comfortable especially on my heels. More expensive sneakers will wear down within months with the amount of hours I am on my feet but not these! Buying again.

I love Mizuno Shoes but they don't last long

Super comfortable. I have bought several pairs over the years. Unfortunately the mesh tears after moderate wear. I have large but narrow feet so the fit is awesome. The pink color is beautiful when new but they quickly turn to grey with any outdoor use. I just wish they had more reinforced material at the toes so the mesh wouldn't tear. 3 pairs in a row ended up with a hole at the big toe.

Great shoe

These shoes are a great color, they offered lots of support in cushion. I run short distances and lift weights, so I wore this shoe during those workouts. They offered my joints support so I wouldn’t walk away achy or hurt.
